The University of Texas offers online Croatian language courses through its University Extension (UEX) program. These courses are open to anyone, regardless of location or institutional affiliation, and provide the opportunity to study Croatian at the university level from home.
University Extension offers a four-course series designed to help students achieve intermediate proficiency in Croatian which can be used to fulfill most college language requirements. In addition, UEX offers a third-year course for advanced study of grammar, reading, conversation and composition.
One important advantage of these courses is that they offer official university credit from UT Austin. In many cases, these credits can be transferred to other universities.
